Andriy Podufalyy is a Ukrainian-born artist who lives and works in Chicago. He received his BFA in Oil Painting from the American Academy of Art College in 2022. As an oil painter, Andriy was influenced greatly by the old masters. By virtue of this, oil paint is his medium of choice. His work incorporates anachronistic figures and motifs into contemporary settings with a focus on historical accuracy.

Besides painting, Andriy is intensely interested in history and literature which helps his art evolve. His fascination with history and desire for authentic depictions is what makes his work stand out.  In the future, Andriy will continue to develop his work and search for exhibition opportunities and work hard to strengthen his art career.
